Norman Brook presented British Triathlon’s Gold Pin Award


Norman Brook received a Gold Pin Award at the 2011 British Triathlon Annual Awards Dinner in recognition of his services the sport. The British Triathlon Gold Pin is awarded to the sport’s leading figures to highlight their significant and long standing contribution to triathlon.

Brook received his award at the sport’s gala annual awards dinner on the 12th November 2011 in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Others to receive a Gold Pin Award at the event were former administrator Phil Yarde and triathlon legends, Chrissie Wellington and Spencer Smith.

Brook was Chief Executive Officer of the British Triathlon Federation from 2000 to 2007 and credited with driving the sport’s modernisation and development during this period.
