The GIZ in Ethiopia has published the Sport2Work Manual in English with a version also to be published in Amharic the official language in Ethiopia. Norman Brook, has just returned from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he conducted a workshop with Niklas Grau to test a new manual titled Sport2Work that has been commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Norman Brook recently presented a paper on the practice of identifying, confirming and developing sporting talent at a seminar in Fortaleza, Brazil, organised through the International Inspiration programme and hosted by the state government of Ceara.  Brazil will host the Summer Olympic Games in 2016 and identifying and developing talent in Olympic sports will be high on the nations agenda.  The second extract from the paper is featured below and others will be publshed here
